VeraTemp Non-Contact Thermometer Review
I dread the start of school at the end of summer. It never
fails that one of my kids ends up sick within the first month. Usually it
starts with a stomach virus. Then, as fall gets nearer, the colds seem to
start. For years, I have used an ear thermometer. I’ve never quite figured out
what I do wrong, but I can get a different temperature 5 tries in a row. The
new VeraTemp Non-Contact Thermometer from Kidz-Med solves that problem! I have
had so much fun testing this thermometer. It’s especially neat because it not
only reads an accurate temp an inch away from someone, but it can also read
surface (ex: bathwater) and room temperatures! The Kidz-Med VeraTemp gives
instant readings in either Celsius or Fahrenheit. I think this is a must have for any parent’s
medicine chest.

My youngest son is really into all things with wheels. Recently we had the opportunity to select an item from WildDill.com to review. The rig is made from recycled Sprigwood; a durable, kid-safe bio-composite material made of bits of reclaimed wood and recycled plastic. Incredible Stickers! Activity Book Review
I remember my love of all things stickers as a child. I'm happy to report that my children seem to have all been born with the same love for them. Recently, I was sent a a copy of "Incredible Stickers! An Activity Book" to review. I have to say that I immediately fell in love with the bright colors used throughout the book. My five year old spotted the bright red book cover as soon as I opened the package.
This book has numbered pages that correlate with numbered sticker pages. My son has had tons of fun placing the stickers throughout the book. The images used in this book combine realistic food items with fun drawings. For example, page 3 has a huge stalk of broccoli that immediately grabs your attention. On the same page, you'll find small drawings of animals and flowers. The next page shows a plain broccoli stalk that is waiting for your child to showcase his/her imagination with stickers. I love that this is something my son can use by himself or with me.

Bil-Jac Dry Dog Food Review #imabzzagent

Once I got home, I poured a serving of Bil-jac in Mr. W.'s bowl (right next to a bowl of his "current" food) & wondered how quickly he would turn up his nose at both bowls. What happened though, was he practically inhaled the Bil-Jac! He absolutely loved it!
A quick note from the Bil-Jac website:
The Bil-Jac Difference
When you feed Bil-Jac Super Premium Dog Food to your dog, he'll start wearing his best coat. One that's shiny, lustrous, and full. Because he's eating healthier, he'll also have softer skin, brighter eyes, increased activity, improved muscle tone and, believe it or not, a smaller & firmer stool - a sign that he's getting all the vital nutrients he needs.Be sure to check out Bil-Jac on their website & Facebook for more information.

Purex Complete with Zout Review & FREE Sample
![]() |
As someone that has 4 boys, laundry is one thing I am up close & personal with. You can imagine how excited I was when I learned that I had been chosen to participate in the Purex Insiders program!
My first opportunity came quickly in the form of a bottle of Purex Complete with Zout Triple Stain Remover. I'm not a fan of sweet scents for my laundry. (I think that's probably due to testosterone overload in my house.) I was a little bit concerned when my full size bottle of Purex Complete with Zout Fresh Morning Burst arrived. My first thought was "I hope it's not too sweet smelling or my boys will have a fit." I loaded up the wash with the day's baseball uniforms (4 boys=lots of dirty uniforms) & added the Purex Detergent; with fingers crossed. 40 minutes later, I opened the door (yes, apprehensively). To my relief, the clothes not only smelled fresh (not floral!) but came clean as well!
I am happy to report that my fears were unfounded. I absolutely love the smell of the Purex Complete with Zout Fresh Morning Burst! It smells and cleans great!
A few facts about Purex Complete with Zout:
*Contains 3 powerful stain-fighting enzymes
*Comes in 2 fragrances: Fresh Morning Burst and Free & Clear
*Formulated for traditional & front loading washers
*Can be used as a pre-treat and as a detergent
*Prices start at just $3.49
Click HERE for a free sample of Purex Complete with Zout so you can experience it as well!
I am a Purex Insider and help spread the word about the Purex® family of laundry products. As an Insider, I receive sample product and incentives in exchange for participating in brand related activities, but my opinions are my own.

Rock of Ages
![]() |
| From Yummy Boy Mummy Saving Money! |
One2One gave me a great opportunity to review the NEW "Rock of Ages" cd! I have to admit that when I saw the list of songs on the disc, I got excited! These are some oldie but goody rock songs! I have to say that I really enjoyed listening to the "Rock of Ages" cd. It was an upbeat album with the fun of Broadway added in to the music.
Cool info: New Line Records just hammered the in-store release of the Original Broadway Cast Recording of five-time Tony Award nominated "ROCK OF AGES." For those of you not in the know, Rock of Ages is the new Broadway musical starring American Idol finalist Constantine Maroulis. Set in 1987 in a legendary Sunset Strip rock club, a small-town girl meets a big-city dreamer and they fall in love to the greatest metal songs of the 80's. The musical is an arena-rock love story told through the mind-blowing, face-melting hits of Journey, Bon Jovi, Styx, Reo Speedwagon, Pat Benatar, Foreigner, Twisted Sister, Poison, Asia, Whitesnake and more.

Ballas Hough Band CD Review
![]() |
Recently, One 2 One Network asked me to review the Ballas Hough Band Debut CD. Formerly known as "Almost Amy", the "Ballas Hough Band" (BHB), was formed in 2005 in London, England by Mark Ballas, Derek Hough, Sam Marder, Harry Sullivan and Emily Grace. They moved to the US in 2008 and were signed to a record deal with Hollywood Records. Two professional dancers from Dancing With the Stars, Mark Ballas and Derek Hough, are in the music industry as well! Who knew?! The Ballas Hough Band members have grown up together and know each other inside and out. They've been playing together for years.
The BHB wrote the majority of the album themselves. To that end, the Ballas Hough Band's debut puts a personal spin on pop music, with songs like “Fall” and "Devastated," which recount worldly lives that left a trail of broken hearts. They were using their imitating their life experiences through their music.
I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I like Pop Music, but sometimes liking a particular genre doesn't guarantee you'll like a specific artist; but I really enjoyed this CD and I think you will too!
The Song list:
Do You Love Me
Devastated
Closer
She Was The One
Longing For
Birthday
Fall
Do It For You
Break Through
Together Faraway
Underwater
Want more info on the BHB? You can find it at their Official Web Page and HERE's a link to their You Tube video. Ready to purchase this CD now? Click HERE to be taken straight to Amazon.
