Howard B. Wigglebottom Children's Book Review
Raising children is by far the toughest job I've ever had. Sometimes I feel like a broken record saying the same things over & over again. "Pick up your toys." "Don't tell a lie." "Play nice with your brothers." "You have to share." I think my kids have tuned me out. That's why I'm happy to have found the Howard B.Wigglebottom books! Somehow, when it comes from a storybook, it seems to click a lot faster with my boys. My youngest is at very impressionable age and I love being able to read educational, yet fun stories to him.
In this story, Howard B.Wigglebottom and the Monkey on His Back, Howard gets a lesson on telling the truth. He learns that while telling lies gets easier to do each time, it also gets a lot harder to quiet his conscience. I loved the way the moral of the story was presented. The bright colors in this book also captivated my son when I read it to him.
