My Memories Digital Scrapbooking Software Review and *Giveaway*
I was so excited when MyMemories.com contacted me and asked me to host a review & giveaway of their scrapbook software. Each year I start with the best of intentions on capturing more "moments" on film and making nice memory books as keepsakes of these precious years. Unfortunately this has turned out to be a complete failure. I have four boys and for the most part, they don't want me to take their pictures, let alone do anything creative or fancy with them. I literally have stacks of photos sitting beside empty photo albums. The good news is that this "old" style of photo craftiness can be handled online these days & turned into creative masterpieces thanks to MyMemories.com! It took me about 5 minutes to download and install the software. My internet was giving me a fit though, so I think it will be quicker if you have "problem free" internet service. ;)
Once I installed the software (with a convenient desktop icon!), I opened it up and prepared to create. I'll admit to being a wee bit intimidated by my options. However, I forged through it & realized I was making it more complicated than it really was. There are a lot of templates that come free with the purchase of My Memories Suite. There are more templates available online as well. Some of these are free & some are available for a small charge. I downloaded an additional 10 templates that I loved (all FREE-which I really loved!) and within minutes had them ready to use. Below is my first EVER attempt at scrapbooking (paper or digital). What do you think?
I'm impressed! I can see how My Memories Suite could be used for everything from creating gift tags to invitations to newsletters to calendars to photobooks to videos and more. I am very pleased with how many options there are for using the software!
