Buying Clipped Coupons
I know this comes up often, so I figured the "New Year" would be a great time to visit it: "Why would you BUY coupons?"
I buy coupons for items that I know I will use. Ex: Gatorade drink coupons. I have 4 boys that are all very active. I can't begin to tell you how much time is spent running them from one activity to the next. They use a ton of Gatorade throughout the year. When a *hot* coupon for Gatorade (or Powerade) comes out, I get excited! Recently, there was a $.50/1 coupon for G2 products. Prices immediately soared on ebay. So much so, that it was foolish to pay what they were asking for their time. (On all coupon sites, you pay for the service, not the coupons themselves). However, there are a lot of great clipped coupon sites out there that have a set fee for their service. Manufacturer's Coupons is one of my favorites. Just when I thought I was going to be out of luck on getting my hands on some 'reasonable' G2 coupons, I found some here! There are several other great sites. I'll be back at a later time to share some of those with you. :)
I also use eBay when searching for coupons. There are a lot of great sellers out there, just be sure you read their ratings & specifics for each auction. I love to get all my coupons from one seller when possible. I prefer a seller that offers free shipping or reduced shipping for combined auctions. When shopping through eBay, make sure you check-out AFTER going through BigCrumbs. BigCrumbs gives 36% cash back! That is an awesome rate!
